ABOUT: LOVE Wichita

Our Vision

To seek the peace and prosperity of Wichita believing that our city will be forever changed, one life at a time.

How did LOVE Wichita begin?

LOVE Wichita began in 2009 as a vision of Eastminster Church in collaboration with Mayor Carl Brewer for a faith-based day of service to seek the prosperity of our city.

The event grew strong its first year and a total of 20 churches completed 150 projects.

In 2011, more than 40 churches worked together on 300+ projects.  The vision has now grown to include churches of all denominations and walks of life to serve together for the good of our city.

When is LOVE Wichita?
