Our To-Do List

Throughout the year we have projects submitted to us. There are so many areas of our great city that need some work and we have a very difficult time deciding which ones to put on the list. We’d love to get to all of them - with more volunteers that desire could become a reality! Until that happens, we have placed the following on our to-do list. Knights for our Knights

Gammon, home of the Knights would love to have some Knights come in and do some up keep to our school grounds and classroom.

1. Clean interior and/or exterior windows
2. Weed and clean out the school atrium that houses a fish pond, wild flowers, and student art work.
3. Fix the cabinet in one of of the teacher's classroom.

South High paint consession

A new concession stand is being added to the soccer field at South High School. The exterior of the building and trim needs to be painted.

Lady Bugg Exterior Clean Up

Lady Bugg House - We need some trees trimmed and cut down and hauled away. We need to weed and clean up garden areas and plant new flowers for the spring. The yard needs to be mowed and edged. We need to spray weed killer on grass in the driveways and garden beds.

We do need to have our guttering repaired and replaced but would want someone skilled at guttering.

Operation Love Irving

Irving Elementary School - Repair, sand and paint park benches in Atrium area of our school.

Plant bushes along new dirt area of the new addition to our building (West side of new addition by South parking lot)

Pick up trash along building and along both sides of fences around the whole building

Add Mulch to front part of the building where to evergreen shrubs are located.

McLean OWL Site

McLean Elementary School needs a general spring clean up in our school nature center/garden -- may include weeding, raking, mulching, etc.
